Maintenance and inspection for optimal performance of wind turbines

Specialists in composite maintenance in wind farms, we offer thorough inspections and precise diagnostics to ensure efficiency and extend the lifespan of wind turbine components. Equipped with the latest technology, our professional team and trusted suppliers provide a range of services including blade inspections, thermography, ultrasonic measurements, as well as repairs, etc. We are committed to keeping wind turbines operating efficiently, safely, and profitably.

Inspections from the ground by means of telescopic equipment
.
We implemented the use of telescopic equipment that allows us to carry out an efficient inspection from the ground. This method ensures the safety of personnel and reduces insppection times.
Comprehensive inspections of the blade surface
Ofrecemos inspecciones exhaustivas de la superficie de la pala, ya sea utilizando plataformas sobre camión o plataformas suspendidas, garantizando una cobertura completa.
Internal inspection of the blade
We carry out thorough analysis of the inside of the blades, looking for any signs of wea or damage that could affect the performance of the wind turbine.
Inspection by thermography technique
Our equipment can detect damage invisible to the human eye. This allows us to identify structural defects, cracks or anomalies that may affect the integrity of the blades and/or performance of the wind turbine.
Technical inspections, including conductivity of the SAR sytem.
We guarantee accurate results with the verification of the conductivity of the SAR system.
Ultrasonic measurement
Together with our partners, we implemented ultrasound technology to measure blade thickness and identify blade structure damage not detectable with other less specific methods.
Drone inspections
We have the latest technology on the market for the inspection of wind turbines with autonomous flight and automatic damage detection. This allows us to be very agile and efficient.

#quality

Ensuring the quality of wind energy: From production to the wind farm

We offer comprehensive monitoring of wind turbine components – blades, nacelles, hub covers, and shafts – from the factory to their final installation. This monitoring includes all stages of transportation, whether by road or sea, and extends to assembly with cranes and torque checking.

We work closely with the quality departments of our clients, adapting to their checklists and making timely repairs in case of damages, thus ensuring maximum efficiency of the wind turbines.

Blades

Meticulous inspections for any signs of damage or wear.

Shafts

We ensure the stability and efficiency of the system through detailed inspections.

Nacelle

Identification and correction of irregularities, ensuring optimum performance.

What is the regular maintenance process of a wind turbine like?

When it comes to composite elements, regular maintenance of a wind turbbine involves several tasks:

  • Th first step is to know in what condition the element is in. This requires a visual inspection (from the ground, with a drone, at height, etc.) depending on the wind turbine model, weather conditions, etc.
  • The damage detected is then calssified into impact level categories. In this way, an assessment is made of the most important damage where it is necessary to prioritise intervention.
  • Finally, repair work is carried out, according to what has been proviously detected and clasasified.
What is included in your wind turbine maintenance service?

Our maintenance service includes visual inspections, lubrication of moving parts as well as any necessary fibre repairs or replacements.

We also provide detailed reports of each maintenance, allowing the customer to closely monitor the condition of their wind turbines.

All of this is carried out by a team of highly trained and experienced wind turbine maintenance technicians.

How often is maintenance required?

The frequency of maintenance may vary depending on the wind turbine model and site conditions. However, preventive maintenance is generally recommended at least once a year. Corrective maintenance should also be performed if any problems are detected.

What happens if wind turbines are not maintained on time?

If a wind turbine is not maintained in time, there can be a number of negative consequences. These include reduced performance, damage to components and, in extreme cases, total failure of the wind turbine. In addition, the cost of repairing these problems can be significantly higher than the cost of regular preventive maintenance.
